This live stream features Region VIII Junior High and High School competition in barrel racing, pole bending, bull riding, team roping, tie-down roping, goat tying, ribbon roping, breakaway roping, saddle bronc, bareback riding, and steer wrestling at the Uvalde County Fairplex in Uvalde, Texas.
Region VIII is one of ten regions of the Texas High School Rodeo Association (THSRA) and the Texas Junior High Rodeo Association (TJHRA) which are independent student athletic associations.
Members compete in ten rodeos to earn qualification for the Texas Junior High Rodeo Association State Finals in Gonzales in late May or the Texas High School Rodeo Association (THSRA) State Finals in Abilene in early June.
Region VIII rodeos are typically held the second weekend of each month from September through March.
