2026 Wrangler BFI | The Feist – Round 2

If Round 1 set the pace, Round 2 turned up the pressure.

With the best team ropers in the world battling through the legendary Bob Feist Invitational, every run became more critical as teams worked to stay clean and position themselves for a shot at the short round. The competition tightened, but the intensity never let up inside the Lazy E Arena.

Round 2 belonged to Miles Baker and Justin C. Johnson, who delivered a lightning-fast 6.07-second run to claim the round win and pocket $8,000. Their run showcased the speed and precision required to compete at the highest level of team roping and instantly moved them into the conversation among the event’s top contenders.

Meanwhile, the Round 1 leaders, Tyler Tryan and Levi Lord, continued their impressive performance. After opening the day with a blazing 5.45-second run, they backed it up with another strong effort in Round 2, maintaining their position near the top of the leaderboard and building the momentum that would eventually carry them to the 2026 Wrangler BFI championship.

As the second round came to a close, the separation between contenders and pretenders began to take shape. The race for a coveted short-round berth was heating up, and with four rounds still to go, every steer mattered.

The road to BFI glory was getting shorter—and the battle was just getting started.
